Do you ever feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders and you don’t know what to do with it? Maybe therapy is for you! Whether working through something big or the day-to-day challenges, sometimes a little help finding clarity changes everything. I love when clients exit therapy proud that they accepted the challenge and experienced even small changes in life. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way.” I chose the mental health field because I wanted to be a part of the solution to systemic and generational mental health challenges. I achieved my master’s in psychology which was foundational in addressing the individual self as one part of an entire systemically influenced being. My mission as a therapist is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore the depths of themselves. I believe in the inherent worth of each person regardless of our diversified backgrounds and experiences. My goal is to offer client-centered therapy that is tailored to the client’s unique needs to foster self-awareness and promote healthier lives. Ultimately, my purpose as a therapist is not to be an expert in my clients’ lives but to be a trusted partner in their journeys toward greater mental and emotional well-being. Outside of the therapy setting, I commit my free time to soaking up the sunshine, reading, and trying new recipes, and advocating for those who are not able to do for themselves.
