About
I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who works with adults, children, adolescents, and families, including many who have experienced trauma. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in community mental health, residential treatment, hospitals, schools and universities, as well as with California’s ACEs Aware initiative addressing the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in social justice, health equity, and evidence-based, healing-centered care. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, stress, relationship and family concerns, substance use, and the lasting effects of difficult or traumatic experiences. My work with substance use includes both harm-reduction and abstinence-based approaches, depending on each person’s needs and goals.
My training with Dr. Alicia Lieberman, Director of the Child Trauma Research Program at UCSF, deeply shaped my understanding of trauma, attachment, and healing within relationships and families. I have specialized training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), along with experience using CBT, DBT, ACT, exposure therapy, play therapy, and other approaches. I draw from these tools flexibly rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Most importantly, I believe healing happens in relationship—and that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to bring compassion, curiosity, clinical expertise, and sometimes a little humor as we work together toward what matters to you. Asking for support can be difficult, and I believe there is both courage and wisdom in doing so.
