Creating a safe and nonjudgemental space is a meaningful component in developing a trusting therapeutic relationship in which I emphasize, assisting others in exploring themselves, and processing their thoughts, emotions, and personal stressors. I am passionate about assisting others in their journeys and dedicated to discovering each individual’s strengths to empower healthy relationships among themselves and others. My clinical specialty includes individual therapy for adolescents, and adults, as well as family therapy. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, and family issues. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, and I use a variety of evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, solution-focused brief Therapy, mindfulness, development of coping skills, and family therapy.
After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology at California State University Bakersfield, I moved forward to earn my Masters degree in Social Work. I have worked in an array of settings where I provided individual therapy, family therapy, and crisis interventions to children, adolescents, and families.
In my time, I enjoy listening to music, taking walks, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
