About

Associate Clinical Social Worker supervised by Chelsea Silverman, LCSW

Hello! My name is Frankie Masi and I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and a little bit humorous. The therapeutic relationship is the most important thing when it comes to your healing, and I strive to provide a nonjudgmental space where you can process and grow.

I have lived in Los Angeles for thirteen years, and found my way to the mental health field through advocacy work for survivors of gender-based violence, including survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and sexual harassment. I have since worked as a therapist with unhoused folks, formerly incarcerated individuals and their families, and clients navigating a range of complex mental health challenges, including mood disorders, personality disorders, complex PTSD, and Schizophrenia.

While I am especially passionate about working with survivors of trauma, I am also ready to meet you where you’re at. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, challenging family relationships, stress, or other challenges, I want to create a therapeutic space where you can meet your goals.

I utilize a range of therapeutic modalities in my practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and a strengths-based framework. I strive to have an intersectional lens in my work, and examine the ways that gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality, culture and other identities impact your unique life experience. You are the expert of your story, and I am just honored to walk with you for a small part of it.
