Hi and congrats on taking the most difficult step in your journey, seeking therapy and beginning the process! My name is Marina Armanious, I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming and nerve-wrecking, especially if it’s your first time . I believe I’m creating a safe environment to talk and process your emotions.

Life can be fun, but it can also be incredibly hard and no two people experience it the same way. I know how meaningful it can be to have someone in your corner and I want to be the person I needed when I was younger and be your voice while also helping you find your voice. I hope to be that steady, supportive presence for you.

I deeply value the therapeutic relationship and the trust we build together. You are the expert on your own life and my role in the relationship is to listen, learn about your experiences, support you, challenge you when needed, and cheer you on every step of the way.

I specialize in working with mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, relationship concerns, healing from childhood trauma, navigating life transitions and stressors, building healthy boundaries, communication and more. Above all, my priority is that you feel safe, heard, and truly seen. Therapy should be a space where you can vent, laugh, cry, gain insight, and grow whenever you’re ready.
