About
Associate Clinical Social Worker supervised by Chelsea Silverman, LCSW
Hi there, I’m Sam, a therapist who wants to assist you in navigating life’s challenges and finding hope in your future.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, addiction, trauma, grief, and life transitions, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. My approach is to find what works for you and to create a space to feel seen and heard.
I hold a Master’s in social work with specialization in mental health and trauma from University of Denver. My clinical experience includes community mental health, intensive levels of care (residential/intensive outpatient program), and experience with children, adolescents, adults, women’s mental health, LGBTQ (youth and adults)and clients with a history of trauma.
I provide an LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodiversity-inclusive space where clients feel genuinely understood and supported in the full intersectionality of their identities.
I aim to help clients recognize and build on their inner resources, using empathy, curiosity, and collaboration as our foundation. I take a supportive yet intentional therapeutic approach, gently challenging clients to confront and work through obstacles while feeling safe, respected, and empowered in the process.
Take what resonates and leave behind what doesn’t. I’d be excited to work with you and assist you in finding hope.
