Tami Zorge is a Board Certified (ANCC) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and a Certified Nutrition Therapy Practitioner (CNTP). She graduated from California State University of Los Angeles with her Masters Degree in nursing specializing in family psychiatry in 2014. Tami received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Rutgers University (formerly University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey), Newark, NJ in 2009. Tami also has a BA in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ. Tami is also a Certified Reiki Specialist and has a deep interest in health and wellness (physical and mentall) that includes nutrition and supplementation, exercise, herbs, yoga and meditation. She is an advocate for clean eating and healthy whole foods and believes that “food is medicine.” Tami likes to take a holistic approach to health and strives to empower her clients to take control of their own health – emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Tami worked as a Registered Nurse at Cedars Sinai Medical Center for six and ½ years. Her experience includes working in both the inpatient and outpatient settings and as a Research Nurse in Neuro Sciences with a focus on stroke clinical studies. When Tami is not working you can find her at the gym where she focuses mostly on weight and strength training. She also enjoys the sauna, photography, exploring nature, travel, reading, yogic meditation, strumming her guitar and hanging out with friends. Tami is originally from Chicago, IL. She has a daughter who lives in New Jersey who is a published writer in poetry, historical fiction and music. Needless to say, Tami is very proud of her daughter.
