About
Associate Clinical Social Worker
(Supervised by Kasey Bogoje, LMFT)
Victoria earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2020 and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University in 2015. With a background in equine-assisted therapy and group psychotherapy, Victoria has gained ample experience in the spheres of substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and familial dynamics. Catering primarily to at-risk youth, veterans, and clients battling substance use, Victoria has assisted a variety of populations facing unique circumstances. Striving for improvement, Victoria sought out further coordination within the local school districts. This provided her with additional knowledge regarding organizational aspects of bringing psychotherapy sessions to fruition. Throughout her graduate level studies and prior work experience, Victoria developed flourishing partnerships with local police departments and schools in both the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. This teamwork led to the creation of an after-school mentorship program for at-risk youth. Noting the impact her group mentorship sessions had made, Victoria remained dedicated and passionate in counseling the adolescent population. Finding yet another local non-profit, Victoria began practicing as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) with teen clients battling substance abuse, anxiety, and depression after the COVID-19 pandemic. Victoria quickly expanded her counseling services to teens throughout Southern California school districts and became a Program Manager for educational courses on drug abuse and detox programs. She has effectively sustained levels of optimal care for her clients and has ensured the overall success of her programs and previous organizations. She is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish
