Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website located at www.themindfullemon.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Site immediately.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses the Site — including individuals exploring treatment options, family members, referring professionals, and partner organizations.

If you are a current or prospective client receiving clinical services, additional service agreements and informed consent documents will govern your clinical relationship with The Mindful Lemon and its licensed providers.

Important Healthcare Disclaimer

The content on this website — including articles, blog posts, program descriptions, condition information, and educational materials — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute, and should not be used as a substitute for, professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Website Information Is Not Clinical Advice

No clinical relationship is formed between you and The Mindful Lemon, LLC, or any of its licensed providers through your use of this website. The information provided does not replace consultation with a qualified mental health professional who can evaluate your individual circumstances.

Always seek the advice of a qualified mental health provider, physician, or other licensed healthcare professional regarding any questions you have about a mental health condition, symptoms, medication, or treatment options. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read on this website.

Specific Limitations

  • Content about diagnoses and conditions is educational, not diagnostic
  • Program descriptions do not guarantee outcomes or suitability for any individual
  • Insurance information on the Site is general; individual coverage varies and must be verified
  • The Care Quiz and self-assessment tools are screening aids only — not clinical assessments

Telehealth & Virtual Services

The Mindful Lemon offers Virtual IOP (VIOP) and telehealth therapy services through secure digital platforms. Use of these services is subject to separate informed consent agreements and the following conditions:

State Licensing Requirements

Telehealth services are only available in states where The Mindful Lemon holds appropriate licensure or where our providers are licensed to practice. It is your responsibility to confirm your state of residence when requesting services. We cannot provide telehealth services to individuals located in states where we lack appropriate licensure.

Technology Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you have adequate internet connectivity, compatible devices, and a private, confidential setting for telehealth sessions. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by your technology or internet service.

Limitations of Telehealth

  • Telehealth is not appropriate for all clinical presentations or acuity levels
  • Telehealth cannot replicate all aspects of in-person care
  • In the event of a clinical emergency, you must contact emergency services directly
  • Your provider may determine at any time that telehealth is not clinically appropriate and recommend in-person care
Ryan Haight Act Compliance

Where applicable, our prescribing providers comply with the Ryan Haight Online Pharmacy Consumer Protection Act and DEA regulations governing controlled substance prescriptions via telemedicine. Prescriptions for certain controlled substances may require an in-person evaluation prior to initiation of telehealth prescribing.
